@Amberlarry22, I wish this were a joke. I get an adrenaline rush when i see that sharp and pointy W. No other mint mark looks like that. There's no denying what that is. I've never mistaken a W for a P or D or S or O or CC. They are striking. This is just my opinion, of course. But when i have a big stack of quarters that I'm rifling through, PPPPPPPDPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPDPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPDPPPPPPPPPPW! BINGO! oh man! I put them to the side till I'm done, sometimes hours later, and give myself the big reveal when I'm settled. Yes, I'm unstable, but I'm aware of it, and that doesn't really help anything. Keep em coming!
Im at the point where I can can spot a West Point also. The edges bring more of a sharp look. You will also noticed a little frosty edge. Finding a W is great. Its differently a rush! I also like finding a Silver Quarter now then. THE ONE BOX OF 13 WAS GREAT! Trying to find another.
I get the same feeling! I am addicted to it. Finally got through another box. One 1992 proof and one business strike. Hopefully post photos soon. But the W, I’m jonesing for one!!!
This was my week fellas, and it's never enough. Plenty Ws, plenty silver, proofs, but it's never enough. I'm itching already.
I know the feeling!!! I don’t understand the silver quarter thing. I just don’t see them. I have some nickels that I found in my uncles rolls.
This is a ziplok baggie of about 200 silver quarters I've found in circulation. I have no idea what to do next. Lol
Diddo! After my initial pre-sort where I pull out all things shiny and silver, I especially like the non-shiny leftovers W’s that I discover. Like I am being rewarded for not skipping a coin. PS: I just came by to comment in solidarity with another Larry.
Do you ever not find anything? You're so darn lucky. Pass it on, remember, we are all here to share. Now that I said that, I feel much better. Have fun, good luck, be safe.
