Hello Everyone now I'm curious do different bars have different "good for one beer" tokens if so what bar do you guys reckon this came from.
It either came from the Ohio river valley or Arizona (Yuma or phoenix)(or I'm wrong entirely) IMG_0799.JPG IMG_0800.JPG

There are plenty. That token could be from anywhere across the US.

What happened to the obverse? Is it burnt or ink or something else?
    Also, what's its diameter?

I believe the back is just black and some cork or something.

Here is a "good for" from a wild west Denver bar.

There are countless beer tokens out there so this one is impossible to identify. If the other side were readable we might be able to attribute it.

Here is the only good for a beer token that I have. It was issued by Friedrich Miller, yes, THE Friedrich Miller, who was the founder of the beer company that bears his name today.

He ran the Plankroad Brewery. Back in the late 1980s, Miller sold a bargain brand, "Red Dog Beer," which listed the Plankroad Brewery as its company source.

This is a Civil War token, and it rated as rare with perhaps fewer than 10 known.

Here is the more common Friedrich Miller Civil War token.
