Just got back from vacation last night. I spent 2 weeks doing the tourist thing in Pittsburg, Philadelphia, and Gettysburg, Pa. New Jersey, New York and Virginia. Somewhere along the way I picked up a 1940 and a 1946 nickel and 2 silver quarters, a 1963 and 1964. Who knows what I re-spent, that's all I had left in my pockets at the end of the evening. Here on the west coast, I am lucky to find a wheat cent every couple months. No pics though, they're not worth the time. Still though, a fun trip and a bonus find.
man, nice finds! when i first get my change, i stare it down for a while! i don't know how you people just get change and throw it in your pocket.
That's because you noticed...the ptrvious owners of those in whose pockets and cash registers where they last laid didn't notice or even care... Clinker
yup, same here. the last time, about a week ago, i just threw the change in my cup holder. I looked at it a few days later and found I had a '57 Wheat Penny its a nice surprise, lol
