Can some folks recommend some website that are "good" for buying coins online in terms of fair prices and good quality of merchandise? Thanks, Andy

Harland J. Berk????? Are you kidding. I live in the area and they used to be good but that was about 20 years ago. Now they carry cleaned coins, overpriced stuff and are rude and ignorant people that work there. Just went there a few months ago and still have garbage and overpriced coins. I used to go there all the time and buy the Red Book, Whitman Albums and coins. But that was a long, long time ago. Now they are to much into other things in the relic and antique stuff. My advise is keep away from them. Myself I really like Millersmint. They have a fantastic inventory, great prices, fast service. Then there is VTcoins. I just wish he would take the sold coins off his website list. He also has a coin store. jmscoins is pretty honest but his coins and prices are all top of the line stuff, out of my price range. I've heard that northeastcoin was a decent place from other dealers and other web sites but I never tried them. For now if I do go to a web site dealer, I'll stick to millersmint.
I've had very good experiences with Telesphere and Alaska Coin Exchange. Mintproducts is pretty good for modern stuff but very sloooooowwww. My one slab purchase from Harlan Berk was satisfactory. I used to find occasional bargains on cheapslabs.com but they aren't as cheap anymore and carry mostly second tier TPG stuff.
I've bought few items from HJB and received a good service. Its true HJB have cleaned coins but they're mark the coins with the problems, which helps a lot. They do get some nice stuff, you have to keep checking.
Heritage, Teletrade and Northeast are all great sources. I would add David Lawrence for both auctions and retail sales.
Heritage is great---DLRC seems to over price their coins and buy coins at low---but their coins are top notch....so I don't mind buying from them every now and then. Speedy
My first question would be -- what types of coins are you interetsed in and in what price range. That being asked, I will add three dealers to the list of those provided that I have done lots of business with and would not hesitate in recommending: Mid- to high-end type coins: Mark Feld Old copper: Shawn Yancey Low- to medium-end coins of all types and moderns: Tim Puro
