goldandsilveronline.com hired a spammer from India to defile CoinTalk

    My guess is that the owners of goldandsilveronline.com don't even realize what they did, they hired an SEO company which outsourced to India, and I'm going to bet we're not the only victims.

    After someone posted that the text was copied and pasted, I searched for it and we weren't the only coin site spammed today...

    We've had our share of Pakistanis too.

    It's not the people in India's fault really, it's goldandsilveronline.com's management for hiring them. The people in India are just doing what they're paid to do. If nobody was paying them to spam they wouldn't spam.

    No, this isn't personal at all. Here's how I guess it would have gone down. The management of goldandsilveronline.com hired a marketing agency based on promises for more "organic web traffic" and no specific method was discussed during the sales meeting. The management signed the contract and the agency went ahead with their marketing campaign and one part of the marketing campaign was to hire SEO contractors in India to spam it up around the interwebz.
