I prefer my bullion coins not to be soiled by the images of politicians, regardless of party affiliation.

 

I did buy some silver rounds years ago at the going rate at the time, around $14/oz. They had the image of Obama on them but that is not why I bought them. I would buy rounds with politicians on then but only if I could get them for melt.

 

I'd buy a silver one... Just haven't gotten around to it yet

I actually like the design on that one, has a clean look that would appear to be well executed. They did a much better job on the likeness aspect then we got with a lot of the presidential dollars as well.

 

Any time I want to see a politician's face, I'll turn on the tee-vee. I don't need to buy a coin for that.

 

For some of us buying a coin would be cheaper than buying a TV.

 

Mine did that too. You have to type it correctly a few times then your autocorrect should learn to start doing it by itself.

 

I love it. But not over purchasing a classic old US gold coin!
