Gold Dollar

Does anyone know what an 1853 gold dollar is worth? It is very tiny.

The only thing I can find with the limited time I have is fom the PCGS Price Guide. It really depends on the condition of the coin. I am finding $180 as the lowest grade listed. The link below should help.

There are alot of fake gold dollars out there....can you post a photo?
Also PCGS price guide is really HYPED up but value would be over $100.

If it is a liberty head type 1 a 1853 in f-12 goes for $110.00

 

Sorry I forgot about the size it is smaller than a quarter.

 

WAY smaller than a quarter! It is smaller than a TRIME! (about 1/2 the diameter of a quarter).

well, i get a magazine called the world treasure bureau (one of the rip off coin selling magazines) and they sell their own choice dates for over $300. If it is in exremely good condition (au-50 or up), i could see it going for over $160....
