Is it worth anything? Why is it gold? This is the first one that I've found.

I am the worst at taking pics of coins but here is one really quick. I'm too lazy to get up to find better lighting. I'm sure it's nothing but as much coin as I see everyday this is the first one I've seen. You can't tell from the pics but it is in great condition. To the naked eye it looks fresh from the roll.

Kd the home shopping network, among others where plating state quarters and selling them off on their coin show,(that no respectable collector would buy from). Maybe one of those got into circulation.

Someone must have finally learned that those gold plated Statehood Quarters they bought on HSN for $200 dollars were only worth face value so they got spent. :goofer: Thats my guess...lol

Yea, you can beat paying face for a nice coin! I would have grabbed it up myself. Good job kd!!

  12. Wow, that's incredibly funny... I would love to see one of those pop up in circulation.
