I've been wondering this for a while; relative to modern U.S. coins, how big were the quarter eagles, half eagles, eagles, and double eagles?
The quarter eagles are about the size of a dime, half eagles a nickel, eagles a few millimeters bigger than a quarter in diameter, and double eagles a few miliimeters bigger than a half dollar. This is only for the coronet and indian/ saint types
I need some help with a simalar question. How big are AGE and APE fractionals compared to modern U.S. coins?
