Every coin nerds dream... Yeah, I read that article when it came out. I would sure love to know how it was discovered. Only mention is "in a cornfield".... Was it a metal detectorist's dream find or was a farmer just turning soil and they came up? And is there any historical significance to the cornfield? Sure does seem like more than the typical civil war era American would have hidden in his field. Either way, it's a very cool find.
