    The inscription on this coin looks like gibberish.
    I think this is an imitation of a Fatimid Dinar, with pseudo-kufic inscription. These imitations were struck during the time of the crusades to resemble the local coinage in Jerusalem and other places.

    Its completely out of my field of knowledge, but here is a Kingdom of Jerusalem imitation Bezent 12th-12th cent. from Acre for comparison. Latin Bezant .jpg 23mm 3.59g.
