Glue Questions

    Two questions.
    1. I just got a couple used Whitman Classic Coin Albums. On 2-3 of the pages, the covering has started to come off (the fake leather sheet that has the dates and holes in it). So, I need to glue these, but I've read enough threads here to know that almost anything is harmful for coins (fumes, etc.). So if I want to glue these "leatherette" pages back to the main pages, what glue should I use?

    2. I also want to make some homemade boxes for 1.5x1.5 coin holders. I plan on using some of those USPS priority mailing boxes and then put dividers in them. What kind of glue should I use for that? Probably the same as for #1, I guess. Or I could probably use packing tape for this one.

    Thanks in advance.

I would think that a white, water-based glue, like "Elmer's" would work best for paper.

Don't know that it would tarnish coins, but you have to figure that the pages were glued to begin with, right?

I'd use it sparingly, and allow time for it to dry completely before using it.

    Yeah, same for the boxes.
