I've got three 4rth Century Roman coins, two from Constantine's era and one from Constantius. I originally received these coins as gifts, and since then my collection has developed to the point I no longer need them as I have duplicates. So rather than sell these former gifts, I'll be giving them away to newbies.

All coins are VF or better, and legible.

If you are a newbie to ancients, and that sounds like the type of coin you might want, let me know below and you'll get one of the three coins. Coins will be assigned randomly to each of the three recipients. Only one coin per recipient The first three to post "I want one" will get a coin.

Ancient? Skeptical, and it sounds a tad rude but your rules... " I want one"

Yes, authentic ancient coins are common enough to be easily obtainable. There's no deception here.

Here's the coins in question, I assure you no trickery. They are genuine ancient coins. Not worth a lot, as they are common (all are sub-$20), but all have nice historic value and are very legible and sharp enough to appreciate.

One of the three people change their mind. Therefore, I have a coin for you. Contact me whenever you can. I hope to be able to mail the three of them out on Wednesday, so if you can contact me by then that would be great.

Guys, next time you do this, specify a 100 post minimum requirement for people to participate. It avoids trolls and scammers.

I can't go into detail but I must say I am extremely disappointed with the direction this has gone. Ive done 7 or 8 giveaways in the past and never had such a bitter and frustrating experience

To the actual members interested in ancients, I will be adding for both of you a few 2,000- to 2,200 year old Chinese coins I found while cleaning an old drawer, plus an extra Roman coin each, especially now that the pool of recipients has shrunk.

Sorry that things turned south on your generous offer @Sallent. If it weren't for members like you who go out on a limb to help us new guys out, my son and I wouldn't be anywhere when it comes to ancients. Having collected for less than a year, we have learned so much from you older members and have been lucky to benefit from your generosity.
