As I continue to purge my Scriptorium/Coin room/Library/Man cave I am finding more surplus books and coins that I would like to gift to (especially beginner) members of this Community - a payback if you will for all the pleasure I have derived from this pursuit over the years. As I am beholden to “she who must be obeyed” for transportation there may be occasional delays in mailing out the gifts, so I ask for some forebearance - I will mail them out ASAP. I only mail to United States addresses. If you live outside the US and can provide me with the US address of a friend or relative who is willing to forward the book/coin to you, I will mail it to that address. I will only absorb that mailing fee however - they will have to fill out the customs forms and bear the mailing costs to you. I hope everyone will appreciate this procedure. If you are under 18 years of age, provide me with assurance that you have your parent’s/guardian’s permission to participate in this offering. Here is a coin gift offering: Carausius Antoninianus A little rough (but I like them that way) I leave it to the recipient to conduct the research and make the attribution. Please post “I am interested” to this thread by 25 March 2018 if you wish your name to be put in the hat for a winner drawing.
@SchwaVB57 is the winner by a coin toss. Please send me your snail mail address via PM. @ValiantKnight - too late I am afraid - I had already flipped the coin before I came online today.
Thank you very much. I am looking forward to learning more about ancient coins. Although a collector for 50 plus years, I am a beginner concerning ancient coins. The PM is on its way.
As I was fortunate enough to win the last awesome giveaway I'll bow out of this one. Best of luck everyone! And thanks for the kind givings @jamesicus !
Sorry for the confusion. I edited it once I saw that I had won the book so that I wouldn't be in this one. Thanks again!
