Germany threatens coin collectors world wide, anybody read this?

In case others may have missed this, Germany is considering banning the export of any and all cultural items: antiques, cars, clocks, coins ,stamps, paintings etc etc. Here is the link below. Comments appreciated, this may occur and it may not. I think it has happened in some other nations? Does anyone know?

Yeah this is the first time I've heard of this crazy idea. I will be completely stunned if something as asinine as this idea goes through, it's just stupid. We as the world have exchanged so much property thus far it doesn't make much sense. I don't really believe it's gonna come to fruition, ok maybe with big huge stuff but never with things you can pocket like coins, jmo

 

There was a pretty big thread here recently about this. In fact, someone was soliciting signatures on a petition.
