I'm wondering if anyone has a billion or trillion mark 1923 coin they would like photographed for free? I'd like to capture images of one for an upcoming book highlighting Germany's hyperinflation crisis, but I don't know anyone with such a coin. While I have a 10,000-mark coin in my personal collection, they are relatively common, I can't seem to find a billion or trillion-mark coin to buy online that isn't outrageously priced. However, as I don't need to own it, I just want images of it. I was wondering if anyone in the Coin Talk community has such a coin, or knows someone who does, and if you've seen my work and like it, perhaps you'd be interested in loaning me the coin for photography.

Kind offer. Like you, all I have is a mere 10,000-mark piece, and it is already photographed.

That's a nice-looking coin.. the lower images I assume are Trueview's.. who took the upper shots?

Actually, I just used the TrueView for my first image (added the slab label and background to match my standard collection template).

Or maybe the first image used the ones I got from the dealer. I forget. But I certainly didn’t photograph it myself. I lack the skills to do more than mediocre images, so I typically rely on the pros for that.

That's a nice shot, but unfortunately, I can't borrow a picture of the coin. The problem with being a coin photographer, writing a book with coin photography, is I have to take the pictures myself.
