    Here are some German coins I was wondering what they are worth. I am NEVER selling any of them as I have received them from a very good veteran friend of mine. They are very dear to me. Here they are:

    German 2 Mark dated 1939:

    The 1939 2 Reichmarck Nazi coin is 62.5% pure silver and worth about $5.00 I believe. They are not rare but they are beautiful and considered pieces of history.

    Btw, I love Mausers and wouldn't mind seeing you post a pic of your K98 (I'm assuming you have at least one based on your username)

    Sorry, I was just trying to be friendly. I'm not 16. I'm actually 38 years old and a gun collector myself.

    I know you were trying to be friendly. I'm just saying it really stinks...

    Your best bet to find approximate values would be to search the Completed Auctions on ebay. You can do that here - Completed Listings , but you have to sign up as a member of eBay first.

    I tried to help you last night and you basically told me to edited

    What he was telling you is that he is 16 and his parentls will not let him post a pic. Try to keep in mind that there is more than one way to interpret what is written. So he wasn't trying to tell you to do anything.

    Well I should have worded it better too. I meant I'm 16 and my parents will not let me buy a gun. So gopher, no I didn't mean anything in a bad way and I thank you for the help on the 1939 coin.

    Thanks for the link! The 1773 one is worth about $50.00 +

    the 1902 one is worth $22.00 +

    the 1855 one is worth about $55.00 +

    Wow, that's really neat. :)

    Well don't automatically assume that your coins are worth the same - condition is everything and not all coins are equal. But if you take grade into account and then average out realized prices you can get a good idea of the value for a given coin. And remember - 1 or 2 sales is not a good representation for value.

    No problem. I guess I just misconstrued what you were saying last night. I'm glad we're all on the same page now. Here's a link to an online dealer that specializes in those Nazi coins. The Nazis minted them in two different sizes; 2 Reichmarck and 5 Reichmarck.

    Yeah I took into account everything in the worst possible way. That is why I have the "+" after the coins.

    Somebody else posted this Key in another thread. I guess it means your coin was minted in Munich.

    Mintmarks
    A = Berlin
    B = Vienna
    D = Munich
    E = Muldenhutten
    F = Stuttgart
    G = Karlsruhe
    J = Hamburg
