Hi guys, I can't find any more medals info on King George 1,

is this a rare medal? It's from 1714. I have an issue of "The Americana Sale" and it shows King George III peace medals which look like that, but it's very different.

Here is the picture of King George the I medal.

Now look at the difference with George III peace medal. First of all on George the I medal, both lion and unicorn are pushed up against the rim. Second, the unicorns tail has a very dramatic curve to it.

I have never seen a peace medal for George I, only George II and III...can you show the other side?

Ah, I see, well this coin was from "Ebay", so either the person is lying and trying to sell a "fake", or he got the date wrong. I think it may be the first.. he never showed the obverse.

    Thanks Dru ;)
