Hi. I wonder whether this ancient Greek coin is genuine or not. Could you please help me find out. I enjoy any comment. Thank you.

Hard to tell, if it is, it's been way over cleaned.

If its authentic, I would believe its a fourree. Look at the reverse edge in front of the horse. Two spots it appears the silver plating is weaaring off.

The placement of the 'bubbles' and the overall softness makes me suspect it is a cast forgery. I'm not 100% certain from this photo but I do not like what I see.

The coin looks suspect of being cast or seriously corroded. It appears to be a coin or replica of Philip II of Macedon. Weight, dimension, & better photos would help the guys at CT give you better information.

Beginner Ancient collector here...but when I looked at it my first thought was cast fake.

Thanks to all of your good selves. I deeply tend to now believe it is a fake. I already returned it back to the seller and got my 18 dollars. Never keep a suspect coin in your pocket. Friendly

Yes! There are plenty of good ones - even the same type. Learn by seeing questionable coins but let some one else buy them.
