GB Golden Mule: 2002 Britannia 1/10 Ounce

    Readers may know of this coin, it is the 2002 Great Britain 1/10 ounce Britannia struck as a “mule”. The obverse is incorrect and is of the type used by Elizabeth II through 1998.

    it should be of the changed obverse type.

    Below are pictures of the normal reverse and obverse but below them is the wrong obverse of the earlier 1998 coins:

    Nice, this isn't a mule that I'd heard of. So a handful known I suppose?

    Yes only a few known but I wonder if any missed in the 4 coin proof set of Britannia gold in that year.
