One of my neighbors had a garage sale this morning. I bought a few things including a 1984 Mardi Gras celebration token. I told them if they had any more coins, I would be interested in buying them and left my business card. I walked home and got a text message with a picture of a jar of coins. I walked back over and took a quick look at the coins in the jar and I spotted some silver and 19th century coins. I asked how much they wanted for them and was pleased to hear them say $4.

I bought them, went back home and looked through them more closely. Very happy with the deal. :)

8 silver coins, some cool older coins, and a bunch of random foreign coins.

The Chinese kwangtung 10 cents or 7.2 candareens is worth 10 dollars easily so you have made your money back. Even the silver melt value is worth way more. Well done!
