Garage sale find

I really enjoy garage sales, estate sales. Picked these two proof sets (1976 & 1978) up today for $5 each set. Nothing special but I liked them. I really like the Ike dollar proof. Seems a lot of people don't like the Ike's but I do.

Nice pick up! Ill have nightmares now thinking how parts of my collection could end up on a $5 sale table some day! Lol

 

I have a buddy that shows and old Cadillac that still has an “I Like Ike” sticker on that giant chrome bumper. I like the sticker as much as his car.

OP- Dripping wet proofs are always a joy to behold. Especially when you can own them at a killer deal. Great haul!

 

Has anyone ever tried to open one of those old sets? Get the bloody band saw out....
