    From Ron Landis on Facebook:

    "It won't be long now! The new Gallery Mint Museum website will be up soon. I'll be releasing several new silver art medals with the rollout. We had some setbacks due to the large size and extremely high relief of all of these, but we loaded up and moved my 400 ton hydraulic press to the new facility in Texas yesterday. Now we'll be able to produce the working dies for the new series."

    I'm really looking forward to what he produces. He showed a hand-engraved master die with the Mercury Dime portrait. He's shooting for an April 2 launch date (226th anniversary of the US Mint).

    The engraved part of the die shown above is about the size of a silver dollar. If he's doing 1 or 2 ounce silver rounds in high relief on his 400 ton press, I'm in.

    I have a number of their copper and silver issues that they did in the 90's and really loved their work. Hate that they had to stamp "COPY" across the back, but those are the rules, so that's what it is.

    Hobo nickels aren't my thing, but they pics in the post by @dwhiz are really nice.

    Funny thing is that, while I like the Gallery Mint issues, I have no interest in the Dan Carr pieces. Go figure

    @Oldhoopster
    I sent those hobos to ICG and put them in a frame, not the best image.
    I must say they do look nice hanging on the wall. landis 1.jpg
