how many varieties are there of these? i saw a red seal and darn near fell in love with it. there is the blue seal as well. are there any others? im really wanting a red seal funny back, the blue seal would be good too. and how much would i expect to pay for a really nice red seal and blue seal funny back? year is not important.
Pretty much it if going by seal coler. Blues are silver certificates while red are Legal tenders. Depends on condition but expect to pay substantially more for a red seal. Give us an idea as to grade and we can give you a better idea. clembo
im not much liking any red seals. Oh- i do collect them when i see them, but i MUCH prefer the blue seals. I thinkl this is why the red seals are worth more in alot of instances.
lets say very fine to....AU? AU being the extreme end and i'm in a really good mood and i feel like spending extra money than i normally would or i can afford to do it at the time. but very fine at the least.
Don't forget the gold seals for Gold Certificates. Here's a trivia fact, George Washington was on the 1922 $20 Gold Certificate.
VF 1928 Red Seal listing at $145. Choice CU listing at $450 to give you some ballpark figures. A-A block.
