I always check serial #s on any note I get. Which is why last year I went to the BEP site to see what they had to offer. I had never bought from them before. Most notes to my surprise were already sold out. Which left me with those fortune notes, the Lucky Bamboo notes etc. So I chose a few. The 1,2,5 note set, a couple of 1.00 fortune notes and a 20.00 lucky bamboo note. Did I do alright even though I went to the BEP? I have very few notes in my collection which are mostly 1929 Nationals. Ebay had a 1,2,5 set going for over 500.00 other 1.00 notes seemed to be selling in the 30.0 - 80.00 range. I am very happy with my purchase, I just don't know if in the future they will bring any premium, big or small. I plan on handing them down to my infant daughter when she is much older and will have a better appreciation for them. Enjoy the photos. you did fine...heck 3 notes have the same SN....lol
After all they are lucky 8 notes. Chinise numerology suggest that 8888s bring luck and fortune.

The "1,2,5 note set" is the BEP "Lucky Money 8.8.8" set:
