    $48 seems entirely unreasonable to ask for that. Maybe he meant $8 with free shipping.

    No he's serious about the BIN price.

    A guy showed up at the last coin show here with several of these was trying to sell for $65 each.

    No takers.

    I just saw on ebay a toilet seat made of lucite with all types of different us coinage set in. Multiple ones went for 100-200 apiece!

    A friend of mine growing up had a toilet seat like that in his basement bathroom. It was all 1964 dimes, quarters, and halves, I think. I wasn't into coins back then, but if I remember correctly, they all seemed to be uncirculated.
