My first FUN show brought several acquisitions. I started on Thursday by keeping my hands in my pockets and touring the good First off, I found two of the three missing pieces of a 1937 proof set I’m putting together.
I was fortunate enough to cut a deal for this one. It’s on the way here. And I had a good lunch and visit with Mike of @ToughCOINS who also doubles as a moderator here. It was fun talking with someone who has more knowledge of coins in his big toe than I have in my head!
Guessing that voice-to-speech or autocorrect helped you out with "Senegal" there in the first post, after reading the thread content...
Fantastic proofs! One day I hope to add a proof buffalo nickel to my herd. I've not put a lot of effort in to that venture and have never really looked for them when at shows.
As they say, "you did good" @Santinidollar. Looks like you really enjoyed the show. And by the way, fantastic coins.
