For those that don't know, This set is built of coins all obtained in the $20 range. I won't say under 20 as few did come in a little over and some much under (cheapest was $6.50 highest was 27)... but the great majority in the 15-20 range A certain member of our group took a good look at the album recently, and I was actualy embarassed that not a few but 15 coins had yet to be added (not count the 2 presently in the mail lol) So I got up off my arse and did the work. All 37 coins may now be viewed (up from 22) https://www.cointalk.com/media/albums/the-2020-20-large-cent-set.1855/
@mrweaseluv, Thats an incredible collection, how on earth did you aquire BOTH 1857 varieties for around $20?! Or am I missing something here....
It is not a "completed set" (yet) it is the update that was completed Only a single 57 (large date).. She is the only survivor of the original $20 LC set build back in 08... That specific coin is in a pcgs holder.. "Genuine not gradeable" at the time quite a few of them were on the market and I was able to snipe this one for $27... It was the Insparation of the original $20 LC set and also why I decided to make a 2nd run on this set, I had such a great time building the 1st one The 56 beside it I got for $22 if i remember right and that coin is damn near MS.. AU at worst
