Wondering if this is considered full steps?

The breaks by the C and the E interrupt the steps. And the N.

Sorry, my friend. I have to agree it is not a full-stepper

No steps and not unc. The double whammy.

It has steps, but I agree with the above diagnosis: not full steps. Even without the dings that cross them, it wouldn't make FS.

Google full step Jefferson nickel and look at the difference. Yours is an average circulated nickel and not even remotely close.

I’ve learnt one thing with coins, if you’re unsure about something, it’s usually not what you’re hopping for. I’d buy a common year FS-graded Jefferson and compare the coins in hand. You’ll see the difference.

You can just look at the modern Jeffersons in your pocket.
They pretty much ALL have FS. It's a good comparison.
