    Hello

    I just acquired a collection of colonial coins
    Try to identify each
    And observation on this Fugio cent
    I am having trouble identifying it in the Newman series

    That is going to be tough in that condition. So much depends on the position of the letters in relation to each other, and that is just not visible. I would look carefully for any die cracks, they can sometimes be used to ID the variety.

    Thank you With my little knowledge and using Whitman’s Encyclopedia of Colonial & earl American coins The best parallel I can find Is the arrangement of letters in Reverse 6700 Is most like Newman 10G WE & ARE very close R is close centered to WE, ONE slopes upwards

    Probably Grading is at FR ?

    You may be correct, the spacing of the O and N in ONE look farther apart on yours, but could be the corrosion making it look different. I wouldn't dare say for sure.

    I might be at AG-03 details (corrosion). But FR-02 is certainly possible.
