My grandson is coming to spend the Memorial Day weekend with us and I was planning to spend some quality time showing him how to sort, identify and (hopefully) collect some quarters. I have cleared the desk, ordered a box from my bank and created a cheat sheet for him to use and keep. When I brought my box home from the bank and opened it - it was an entire box of brand new 2023-P Edith Kanaka'ole quarters. Two thousand of the same quarter. Oh boy

That’s not going to help. Get those customer wrapped rolls even if you have to go to another bank. Have fun with him and what a great way to spend some time with him.

Working with your grandson would be a fun weekend. I have a great grandson about 150 miles away. I send him coins from time to time. His mother told me he is making a presentation of coin collecting in school this week. There is one youngster to carry on.

How old is your grandson? Reason I ask, is I all of a sudden got the image of a little boy being pulled by a mom, while saying, "Please don't make me go. Grandpa makes me look at coins all day." LOL

Good part is you should have time to get it corrected.
