From one of my new AZ rolls.....

This may not be anything interesting but out of 3 rolls I found 4 of these. Is this a cracked die?

Yeah, looks like a die crack to me. That's a neat find - two from the same die.

 

Sure looks like it to me.

I can't believe how quickly these releases roll around. Seems like only yesterday I got my new Mexico coins.

 

At what position, I don't see it. Not quite sure what to look 4 yet. Thx

 

From the left most point on the neck, running thru the Q and on to the rim....

Thanks guys. Its much easier to see with a loupe of course. I have to say, and I know I'm biased, but I think the AZ quarter has got an iteresting and well executed design (by todays mint standards)

 

AZ cracks

I have seen this type of crack on other quarters. This seems to be a weak spot on the dies.

 

I agree, the AZ design is very nice.

 

Not to often you find them on the Obverse - I have seen many cracks and chips on the reverse of some of these designs - Very nice find
