Whew....what a long trip! Hours were from 7:00 AM till 9:00 PM little time left for anything but sleep! New Orleans was party hardy as usual but Idid come home with this note! Series 1934 C Star in CHCU64 what a beauty with PPQ rating as well. Hope you enjoy..this is one hard to locate star note from New York. Enjoy... RickieB
EPQ is stated on the reverse of the note... EXCEPTIONAL PAPER QUALITY which can be a very tough designation to get!!
Just curious, between the right serial number and the CA in America, is that dirt on the note, the holder, or just a trick of the scanner??? Either way, that's a sweet find and just curious, are you going to find a star with the narrow design?
Gatzdon.... I am not sure yet....the note has not been delivered as of today. Will let you know when I receive it. Oh...BTW if it were the narrow type...LOL.. I think I would retire!! Only 4 known and none from NY!! RickieB
Tom Flynn was one of the most noted collectors of our time. His collection was broad and contained many of the finest examples known for a very broad range of notes.....Just like F.C.C. Boyd...he held the finest and largest fractional collection ever! The Fractional Currency Club I belong to is named in his honor! Thats how I would like to go out! Thanks everyone for taking a look... RickieB
Daggarjon.... You wold not believe how estatic I am to own this note...in the poast few months I have added notes from the F.C.C. Boyd and now this Tom Flynn collection as well. RickieB
I was surprised as well....the 8th Edition Schwartz/Linquist is pretty accurate for the most part. I am just pleased to have this example.... Regards, RickieB
