french rooster pcgs 65

    the pics are small so we cant play guess the grade meet the rooster. another lil gift it helps if there are others in your family who appreciate good coins :D

    unfortunately everyone else would have known what the coin is they can read (benefits of going to school) :D

    I love those Rooster coins. Several of the older French 20 franc coins are very beautiful.

    yeah i am trying to see if i can get a Napoleon in gem but those are difficult to find at the right price

    well i have one in 64 its not that difficult with the right connections and right price :D or maybe i was just lucky ;)

    Doug,
    Your referring to the 1848A & 1849A 20 Francs and not an Angel 20 Francs in general ... correct?

    Precisely ;) Finding the 20 francs angel in gem condition is quite easy. Finding the '48-A & '49-A angel coins at all is quite difficult at best. Finding them in gem, is almost impossible. And that particular '48-A was graded MS65 ;)

    Hmmmm - I thought I did. However, you were more interested in other examples at the time.

    Yea I checked, you did, it was on my short list ....... probably ran short on CASH !!! ..... a missed opportunity ;)
