I recently ordered some Coin and Currency sets. When I opened the box today, there was an extra set in it. :hail:

Getting something free due to lack of care, concern, or supervision...is an unadulterated joy in life...
Keep checking your credit card for an additional hit. This may be their new way to increase sales. J/K. Congrats! TC
Joking, yeah, but good advice. What did the invoice read? Only one set? Something similar happened to me in 2006. I had ordered two silver proof sets and they arrived. Then, three days later, another box arrives. Now, I know I had nothing outstanding on order from the mint, so I popped the box and behold....two more silver proof sets. The invoice on the second box read exactly the same as the one in the first shipment. I checked the credit card for weeks after, but nothing appeared.
One set more than listed on the original order, invoice and CC charge. Kind of makes up for the trick of the extra SF eagles.
Man,I hope you're kidding. Isn't the US Mint a branch of the government? The same one that robs us all every day?
So it sounds like you would be OK with someone getting, say, food stamps fraudulently too. This is situation is no different. When you get over on the government you're getting over on all of us. We are all of us, the government. I take issue with someone getting over on me, it irks me.
I won't get into my views on food stamps, this is not the place. Look ay it this way, with the premiums the mint charges these days, they're not losing. They could do buy 2 get 1 free all day and still make $$. The op just got his money's worth this time.
I didn't ask for your views on food stamps, I asked your for your views on fraud. So, if they would have sent the OP two or three extra instead of one, would that have been OK too? How many is too many? The point is, that although it was the mints mistake, if the OP doesn't return it the mint has to count it as a loss and add it to the cost of it's operation. That cost gets passed on to everyone else that buys something from the mint.
