Thanks for posting that, Enoch... or is it Ian? I forwarded it to my friend who has two kids in the grades where they assign letter grades (as opposed to satisfactory).
enoch is fine my real name is jan and yes im a guy I also read some where on the ana site kids can do projects or write papers and get free ancient coins
Nice of you to post @enochian that simple act will probably make dozens of kids happy. Good job man! +1!
Thanks for the info. Mighty nice of the ANA. Pretty smart move, too. I have a few kids I'm thinking will really appreciate it, and have a goal to work toward, since it's still early enough in the school year. There's some issues with grades in the Elementary schools where I live, however: They don't give out letter-grades, but number grades. 1-4 is the scale. 1 is lowest, 4 is highest. The problem is, a "4" is kind of RARE to achieve, even if you work your best. Most really good students get mostly "3"s, with MAYBE one "4" on their report cards. I hope the ANA is okay with this... Hey, why would All Nippon Airways give out free coins to kids who get good grades anyway?
And once you are a member of the ANA they also have the roman coin project where YN's can receive up to 12 free ancient coins, and I believe the also have a program that permits them to earn free colonial coins as well.
we got to keep coin collecting a hobby. it is slowly dying off. hopefully this can turn the tables. what kid doesn't want free money?
im a little confused, if im a member of the ANA what does that mean, is there a club... Im going to do it anyway for the coins but I really don't know what it means to be an ANA
