Does anyone know of a double strike on the reverse of these coins. North Dakota on the Roosevelt, District of Columbia on the Douglass Quarter. Also the 2018 Rhode Island block Island E.P.U. Thank you for any insight

A double strike and a doubled die are two entirely different animals.

You've failed to do your homework which means that you need to learn more about errors and varieties before you start looking for them.

A double strike is a coin that has failed to leave the coining chamber and is struck by the dies a second time. Your coin cannot possibly be a double strike because all of the devices would be affected.

There is no such thing as a "double die". The correct term is "doubled die". A doubled die occurs when the working hub fails to align correctly with the working die after the initial strike when a second strike is required.

Dude I've been collecting coins for a total of 3 months. Sorry i'm not an expert like you. I asked for an opinion on the coin not you assessment of what I know or don't know. If you are on here to try to make novices feel small, especially when it comes to me, I would suggest you not comment and go back down to your moms basement and eat a box of another box of twinkies. I've been on here a people make me sick!!!

So, what books have you read about numismatics?

By the way, sonny, my name isn't "dude".

It's absurd! First of all, there are no basements in South Florida homes. There is too much risk of flooding. Secondly, I haven't eaten a Twinkie in about 30 years.

The fact that the OP has shown his lack of knowledge by using incorrect terminology is no different from a 5th grade teacher chastising a student for not doing the homework assignment. If he resents that I told him that he needs to do his homework and tried to explain to him why the term he used was wrong, that is his problem.

You have good people giving you great information and telling you that you need to learn more. Study what others have posted here. That's a great start.

I went with MD because in the photo it looks flat and shelf like.

Wow, what an overreaction! You get an informative answer from a long-time collector and blow your stack. Why are you so touchy?
