Just noticed an email from Frank Robinson regarding his next auction, I am really looking forward to it since I have gone about a month since buying any coins. There appears to be many interesting pieces therein at reasonable starting bid prices.

    So, good luck to everyone!

I am pulling the trigger on a new coin today however, an antoninianus of Valerian II of JOVI CRESCENTI type to kind of whet my appetite.

One of these was a lot in the last auction I bid on but didn't win.

    Very nice example, great reverse.

Mine has excellent silver, better than average weight, but sad reverse strike.

    I still like it.

Not sure I like this type of promotional post for an ongoing auction or sale. Maybe it's just me being too much of a.....

I put in bids on a few of the coins yesterday after receiving the email. My hopes of winning are slim to none...but you can't win if you don't play.

A lot of the JOVI CRESCENTI types have weak strikes/worn dies so they must have been cranking these out at a pretty good pace. One of the reasons I picked this one out is the detail on the goat.
