Is there a list somewhere on the Internet which would give the silver content of all the Franklin Mint silver coins? I've quite a few of their coins and proof sets to sell--dating back to the 70's-- and I would like to have some idea of the values before I start the sale. I couldn't find any list on their site and it is a tedious process to try to track down each individual coin.

Sorry my friend. I have pretty good skills at finding things on Google, but came up completely dry on finding a list of Franklin Mint coins.

Considering their general reputation in the numismatic community, I suggest that you review your holdings, ascertain how much actual silver they contain, and put them on EBay at 10-15% below their bullion value. (Ignore the gold plating on much of their stuff as even at $1,000/oz. the weight of the plating doesn't amount to much of anything.)

If you are very, very lucky, the increased value of silver during the last few years may enable you to recover 50-60% of original cost.

    Update

I stumbled across this site which offers some help in determining the value and composition of various Franklin Mint items: http://www.icollectfranklinmint.com It isn't perfect but it's better than nothing--I think...
