    Speedy or anyone
What year did the mint make the best Franklin halfs in proofs, every one I look at just looks bad.Not looking for a slab coin just a good looking proof Franklin. At shows and coin shops every proof in a 2x2 looks ugly.

All of the proof Franklins I've ever seen look pretty much the same, just shiny all over. If you can find a Cameo proof Franklin they're much nicer looking and command quite a premium, they range between $50 to almost $4000 depending on what year you're after, generally with these the older they get the more expensive they are.................good luck!!!

Really all of the years can be found really nice.....and if you are willing to pay for it you can get any year with nice CAM......
Lets say you want to spend under $100 and you want at CAMEO Franklin....I would say after 1956....1956 is a hard year to get CAM and rare to get DCAM....
A 1962 or 1963 should be around $50 with CAM.....I've picked up some really nice ones for under $20.

If you know a date or something that you are looking for send me a PM and I'll check out my contacts and send you some links.
