I picked up a 1960 P Franklin Half off E Bay and looking at Coin Value Mag I am not sure where this falls. The coin has terrific luster, though I don't believe it to be a proof. When looking it thru my lens, I don't see any sign of scratches, even at all angles.
After reading in the guide book on Frankilns I have I am still not sure if this is FBL or not.
Hopefully I was able to attach pics to help.

    Thanks......Chris Hawkins

The coin looks to be a proof, the obverse shows a cameo appearance on the bust and lettering, unfortunately the reverse is too dark to see the detail of the bell lines,,,

Based on the obverse picture,I can see some type of markings in the field ,may just be glare from the holder or hair lines I cant be sure,

Values could range from 10.00 to around 75.00 for a cameo proof with values to over a 100.00 dollars for a PR 65 FBL coin ,,from the pictures I really cannot even begin to guess at a grade.

The coin is no doubt a proof, proofs will tend to have a stronger strike and higher relief then a mint state Frankie.....

FBL Refers to the detail lines at the bottom of the Bell on the reverse of the coin, and in particular the fact that the bell lines are fully visable and extend all the way across the coin with no weak spots or breaks.
