I bought this coin because I love Franklins and I have being dying for a Full Bell Lines. I paid under $20 for it and it is PCGS graded. PCGS graded it a MS 63 FBL and I really think it is overgraded. Any suggestions to real grade/value would be splendid. The reverse picture is blurry as the coin is much more crisp. I have a better picture but I am limited to 250kb.Thanks, Henry

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

It is impossible to tell the grade from those pics, sorry. I will say though that 53D is a very common date, and one of the best struck dates in the series. In 63FBL, it is worth less than $20. A 64FBL will only cost $35 or so.

Congrats on your first FBL purchase, and I hope you catch the bug ;) To see my set of FBL Franklins, click the link in my signature below.

I love your set. I found Franklins repulsive when i bought a junk one but the FBl and higher grade ones are beautiful. Thanks and I really enjoyed your collection.

    Thanks!

I agree, low grade circulated Franklin's are rather ugly. High grade, well struck coins are nice though!

yes, I paid 50 cents for the ugly one and was thrilled to get it for 50 cents. I really hope I can build a collection of franklins like you have done.
