Just received my shipment from mint today. Not at home so I can't say what they look like in person but person on another forum saw theirs and said they look much better in person.:hail:

Anyone else get theirs??? and do you like the look??

I totally missed out. I have always been interested in reading about Ben Franklin, and I liked the coins in the US Mint mailer, and I intended to order at least 1 of each, but I waited to long. I will probably end up getting some from my dealer, but I am not sure if I should wait and see if prices go down, or just bite the bullet and get them now.

Kinda the same situation here. Except I didn't wait to long, I didn't know about them until it was to late. Not sure if I'm going to pay eBay prices or not. I don't mind paying a premium since I missed the boat, but not sure I'll pay double or more.

How many did you get? Hopefully enought to keep one if you sell some....

Man, I'm kinda salty about that whole "limited Production thing" as I missed out on the whole deal... By the time I had heard they were released/going on sale, they were out...

I would have liked to get enough to keep atleast 2-3 for myself long term and a few more to sell a few if the prices goes way up...

Then again, I'd feel bad for ordering a crapload, knowing others are missing out and will have to pay jacked up prices because a few of us are kinda greedy...

I ordered one of each offa ebay on an advanced purchase, but I just have this looking feeling that I'll never see them...

Finally got to see these last night up close and personal and I must say that they much better in hand than the pictures the US Mint had up on their website. I didn't think I would like the proof Scientist but it actually is nicer than the unc since the proof fields really let "join or die" logo jump out at you. My favorite is still the founding father, both unc and proof(I like the proof look better since it makes the bust of Franklin stand out but the uncirculated mintage was by far the lowest of all four types) The Founding Father Proof had the highest mintage of all four. I think it was 192,000 proof and 58,000 unc. Anyone else have anything new??

When you check your order status... are there boxes to the right that let you cancel??? If the boxes are gone it means they have billed your credit card and coins will be shipped in a day or two.

You're right, there's no boxes to cancel. Guess I'll be seeing mine soon.

Nope. Their pretty ugly coins IMO and it would be out of character for my collation to have a commemorative coin that's worth more than I paid for it.:p

Got mine a couple of weeks ago..must say the coin is nice..but the packagain is very tacky..what happened to the old velvet encased boxes?? I was very disappointed..oh well

The Proof versions still come in the velvet boxes, it's only the uncirculated finish coins that come in the cheap boxes. For only $2 difference I don't know why they don't package in the nicer box.
