Posted today on the u.s. mint site Shipping of the Benjamin Franklin Commemorative Coin products is expected to begin April 3, 2006 and continue for 6-8 weeks. Orders that include an individual coin option as well as the Benjamin Franklin Coin & Chronicles Set may be shipped separately, if necessary. We expect to begin shipping the Coin & Chronicles Set in early-to-mid May 2006. Customers whose credit card has expired, or will expire by the end of May 2006, must call 1-800-USA-MINT to update this information.
Does anyone have substantiated info on how the Limit was determined on these??? I called the Mint yesterday and spoke with a rep who didn't know and she asked her supervisor who also did not know and that the information was deleted from their system now. I had ordered 30 of each type... 4 different coins X 30 is 120 total coins.... Someone had called the mint and were told that the limit was for 100 total coins across all 4 types not 100 each as it states on the website. Also... does anyone know how the mint handles an order when this happens.. do they send 25 of each type ordered or fill 1st 3 coin orders at 30 each and last order for 10???? Any info would be greatly appreciated.:desk:
