I just got the new issue of Coinage Magazine (April Edition). There is an interesting article that mentions a commemorative Franklin cent to coincide with the regular Lincoln cent. Here are some exerps. "Congress to recommend circulating commemorative coinage of all denominations, one per year, starting with a Franklin cent in 2006 that would circulate beside its Lincoln counterpart." "The CCAC also had proposed 500,000 non-circulating legal-tender half dollars honoring Franklin, a founding father who signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and whose legacy was previously honored on the Franklin half dollar from 1948-1963." All this starts on page 44 if you wanna read more. David
