How many ounce of silver does Franklin roosevlt silver medal have?. What about Theodore Roosevelt silver medal have?. Anyone?. Thanks. Are those two coins the same size and weight.
As per the coin specifications on the back of the Roosevelt (Franklin) set, the silver metal contains 99.9% silver and has a weight of 1.0000 troy ounce. Teddy's is the same composition.
For what you receive in the set, I think it a tad overpriced and not for all collectors. The $57.95 price tag is way over the budget of most young collectors, and the possibility of future appreciation (profit when going to sell) I see as slim to none. It's a very expensive set for anyone but the serious collector of silver mint medals.
These sets were not popular. But then ebay sold as high as $129.99 for 2013 set and most likely for 2014. When it open at eBay. It could reach as high as $89,99. Both sets offered at $57.95 from the mint. Well as you said. These sets are no good. I will pass it. Instead I might buy one 2015 kennedy coin and chronicles set for remembrance.
No, ASE's are .9993 silver, .0007 copper. The medals are 99.9 silver and .1 copper. They are the same diameter as ASE's though at 40.6 mm.
Cool I have time !!! Maybe 10th I will get the set. I just Google photo of set had no info. I know the Holliday mail out has the item number it was the last page.
We have four coin and chronicles set for 2015. Namely, Truman coin and chronicles set. Eisenhower coin and chronicles set. Kennedy coin and chronicles set. Johnson coin and chronicles set. And for 2016. I think we will also see Nixon, Ford and Reagan coin and chronicles set.
That is one thing I have never had any problems with shipping over the years. Even with green and red monster boxes. On time all the time.
Well. I think I am going to get one too. It will be my first silver medal collection and my second bronze medal too.
