Howdy joker79 - Welcome to the Forum !! It's not a coin really - it's a medal - Krause M7. But a rather rare medal according to Krause - 400 pieces struck. And if it is genuine, based on the pic it should be worth approx. $2900 according to the Krause catalog.
Don't forget, not every round piece of metal with a design stamped on it is a "coin"; and very few that don't have some monetary amount on them are coins. This one is probably a commemorative medal of some kind. The legend seems to refer to a wedding that occurred on April 24, 1876. If I'm not mistaken ( ) it's a 5th or 50th anniversary, which would date it to 1881 or 1926. What legend and/or design is on the other side?
That is the 2 florin, struck to commemorate their silver wedding anniversary. Value would range from $45 - $110.
It was not uncommon for many coins to have inscriptions or designs on the edge of the coin. But it is seldom done today.
Joker79,quite a few of the German-speaking states issued coins with the denomination inscribed on the edge.Austria is a very well-known one,but Bavaria also did the same thing as well.
