Not sure if this is the right place for this, but its the best I could find...

I'm thinking about ordering two of those sheets of (24) uncut two dollar bills and framing one with the Obverse facing out and the other with the reverse facing out. Then hanging them on the wall....

    kinda cool or kinda stupid???

Me I like the idea, unfortunatly dont have any free wall space LOL allready have a similar thing though with a uncut set of Witchblade trading cards, so I know the idea would look cool :smile

friend of mine done that. Look pretty cool in my book. He only done one sheet , did not do the front and back.

I too ... like the idea... but wall space would be an issue for me too...

Personally, I have been looking for 'US currency art' in general (e.g. enlargements of areas of bills) as well... haven't found much...

You can buy the uncut sheets of 32 (I don't think they come in 24) and display frames for hanging directly from the BEP. The acrylic frames are $60 and allow you to see the front and back by just flipping the frame.

Better look into a way to mount the frame so that it has to be dismounted from the wall...to easy to steal..

I think it would be cool to have a money room safe!! all denoms hanging on the wall with environmental control..and a steel safe door entry way door!!

Sit back with a fat(cuban) stogie and cold brewsky and marvel at all the wall paper!!!

You just gave me an idea, frames for uncut sheets where the glass has a built in UV filter. I wonder if it would detract from the beauty of the notes.

It's a great idea. I have a sheet of 32 $1.00 framed in my office.

I have 2 sheets of 16 $50s framed at home one obverse one reverse.

The new 10, 20, 50 are cool because they have some color to them but the old green backs are nice.

No, just illegal to import them into the US. If your in a country where they are legal you can smoke them. (Other than cigars and a few other items which just can't be imported, items from Cuba can't be imported directly from Cuba, but they can be imported from other contries such a Canada where they can be imported legally.)

I think it would be a cool idea. My favorite place to eat has a huge picture frame with bills from around the world hanging in the waiting area. Makes the wait for a table go by pretty quick just looking at all of the neat bills. I say go for it!
