I am almost done my canadian fractional typeset, I am only missing the 1923. The 1900 has a cutting error where you can see the top of the note that was printed under it. However, since these were handcut this makes it worth less, something I didnt know when I bought it
Congrats...completing any goal is self rewarding, a display of diligence to the goal and perserverance to succeed!! Post them all so that we may see the set together.. RickieB
Im not sure if I will be getting the 1923 anytime soon. They are the cheapest in the series, but I have become very obsessed with getting a 1$ typeset, which gets expensive quickly. I decided to start at 1900 because anything prior to that in the condition I like (EF+) is way out of my range,( I am 16 and am supporting myself with money from McDonalds, and saving half of the money I earn for school) After I have finished my 1$ typeset I want to get my fractionals in higher grades, because I am not satisfied with it currently then I will get the 1923. Than I have to finish my small penny set, then my nickel set, then my large penny set. I have a long couple of years ahead of me
In that statement my friend ... you are wrong what you should have said, is that you havea lifetime of collecting to go
Very nice note. I learned something today.I didn't know that Canada issued fractionals. I definitly have a long way to go in paper currency collecting. Thanks, John
Lovely note and something that one day I might manage to get for my collection All I can say is you are showing real dedication to this and I hope that you do manage to get that elusive note
