Hello fellow note collectors...I have just accquired this note in Gem 64 (CGA Corp) for under 1/2 of it's listed value...I was in the right place at the right time for this fantastic note from New York!
    Here is the Pic....enjoy!!

    Hi RickieB

    Kudos once again.

You have a world class collection, and I would love to see you and the "NY Collection" at some major regional Northeast show!

    Hello Bruce...How are you?
Thank you for the complement...while the New York collection is not quite ready to show..I appreciate the comment. I have not posted a lot of the other notes as I am planning to do so when it is complete..or should I say if I ever complete it. Some if not most of the early star's are very hard to find in ChCU and still be priced in my range. While looking all the time, I am trying to add the best possible notes I can afford.

    Regards,

    Howdy DeOrc...

Well...here we go....the collection started because my son loves trains! It started with a 1914 Blue seal $20
in ChCU64 I picked up at the "Big Boston Show last Christmas".The note sig's are Burke/MacAdoo (NY 2B)
I decided to start a NY collection of all notes from 1914 thru current from NY only including stars...WOW!! Giant goals I set for my self, and nothing under AU55 in the collection.

Currently. I am almost finished with the $5, $10 notes (except for the Series 1928 (hard to find) and its star's. The $20 is 65% the $50 is 45% complete and the $100 is 33% complete...so as you can see I have a long way to go!
I estimate another few years to be finished with it! Then I got side tracked some months ago and discovered the fractionals! Well of course I had to have them because they said on the little note's "New York Note Company"..I have completed the 4th issue and 75% of the fith issue nothing below AU58. You can see almost all the fractionals in various threads in this fourm.

There ya have it...the collection is growing and I am geeting poorer and poorer as it does..lol
I have a long long way to go to catch up to you DeOrc. I have seen some very nice examples of your collection and what you passed along to anothe rcollector here on CT.

Cudo's to your collection and your generosity!!

Rickie I am in awe of what you have, I honestly dont think that my collection is at all brilliant at the moment, some bits are good but most of it requiers a lot of work  LOL I like my Millitary notes the best and am waiting for two new additions one British & my 1st German WWII :smile I would love to see some pics of your Fractionals. I have been reading a bit about them in my Black Book recently, and find them faxinating.
